Plain white Tee’s

Instead of spending obscene amounts of money on my 2yr olds clothing I’ve started looking for things I can repurpose or do myself. With little money and time– I’ve been able to pull off some super cute shirts. (Without breaking the bank) I picked up a 3 pack of plain white shirts at Marshalls for $2.99 and used scrap fabric I had at home to do the rest. I know lots of you crafty momma’s always have bits and pieces of material you’re looking to do something with. So, the next time you see some cheap solid color shirts pick em’ up and create something sweet for your pumpkin.

Total cost $1.22!!

Wiggly Party!

Amazon is offering 5 Free Wiggles songs for download, including “England Swings” with Keith Urban.

It has been far too long

So I had this grand idea that I would be able to go back to school -maintain my grades, house, kids, blog and crafting. Come to find out… it’s hard as Sh*t! Not only have my studies taken up most of my time, but I’ve also had the pleasure of fighting terrorism here on the home front via the most beautiful 2 yr old. Currently we are potty training and learning who is really in charge around the house and it sure as heck isn’t this lady! I’ve done a bit of remodeling and I’m going to try and start posting the daily freebies and deals again. I’ve also started wayyy to many projects thanks to Pinterest, so I have LOTS of fun pictures and ideas to share! Hope you all are doing awesome and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been up to!

Recipe time - Chicken Cordon Bleu

Chicken Cordon Bleu

Ingredients
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices cooked ham
  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat a 7x11 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Pound chicken breasts to 1/4 inch thickness.
  3. Sprinkle each piece of chicken on both sides with salt and pepper. Place 1 cheese slice and 1 ham slice on top of each breast. Roll up each breast, and secure with a toothpick. Place in baking dish, and sprinkle chicken evenly with bread crumbs.
  4. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink. Remove from oven, and place 1/2 cheese slice on top of each breast. Return to oven for 3 to 5 minutes, or until cheese has melted. Remove toothpicks, and serve immediately.
I stuffed mine rather than rolled. Still amazingly delicious!
Couscous and veggies made a great side.
